The 2021 Genesis G80 will come in two trim levels, both of which come standard with an 8-speed automatic SHIFTRONIC transmission. Reportedly, the 2021 G80 comes out 249 pounds lighter than before thanks to the incorporation of aluminum in the framework, making for a smooth and brisk acceleration… very brisk. The 2021 G80 base model starts with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine making 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, and the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 trim will get you 375 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque without breaking a sweat. The newest MPG numbers have not been verified, but the previous model achieved 26mpg on the highway, and with its slippery bodywork and sloping roofline, we expect the 2021 G80 to fall in a similar category, if not better.
Don’t let all this talk about technology fool you. Genesis’ first love is luxury. From thoughtfully engineered architecture and dynamic lines, to supple interior and a sweeping enhanced interactive dashboard – the all-new 2021 Genesis G80 is, in a word, captivating.The all-new, redesigned interior designs feature a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, with a 14.5-inch infotainment system on the dash. The new G80 will feature more headroom and legroom than its predecessor, which was already pretty spacious to begin with. The new design is fitted with full LED quad headlamps, designed to echo the Genesis emblem, and a sporty pentagonal grille. You and your passengers will be ensconced in luxury with available soft Nappa leather and matte finish wood trim.
The fully redesigned Genesis G80 has officially taken sophisticated driving to the next level. Boasting the world’s first Smart Cruise Control with machine learning, every G80 comes standard with adaptive cruise control featuring the latest technology which learns your driving style and adjusts its behavior accordingly. Forward-collision warning and blind-spot assist are also included, as is Genesis’ Highway Driving Assistant, which bundles Smart Cruise Control with lane-keeping assist and lane-change technology to make your long-distance commutes safer than you ever imagined possible.
The 2021 G80 comes equipped with both Apple Car Play and Android Audio. Plus, Sirius XM Audio, Traffic, & Data services come complimentary for 3 years and will keep you up to date with the latest traffic information and road conditions.
