Genesis of Southwest Houston is happy to help you custom order a Genesis.
Previously, if someone was considering a custom-ordered vehicle purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare (and expensive) car or they wanted something very specific. Either way, the car buyers were willing to pay for the right to order something unique, even if they knew it would probably take additional time to complete the special order. The appeal of buying a rare car canceled out the extended wait time vs. purchasing a new car off the lot. These days the car-buying landscape has greatly shifted. No longer are there rows and rows of new vehicles to select from, so if you desire something specific, then buying directly from the factory is now your best option. If you need a vehicle immediately, getting it from the available vehicles on the lot is your only real choice.
The enjoyable part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you can pick the exact technology you need. You can pick NAV, leather seating, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your favorite color: green! When purchasing from cars in stock, you may have compromised on your wishlist depending on vehicles that were in stock. You could get all of the technology you wanted, but it was in a color you don’t like. Or they had All-Wheel Drive, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order, you get exactly what you want.
On the other hand, by custom ordering your new vehicle from the manufacturer, you don’t get stuck with the upgrade you don’t want. Maybe you needed All-Wheel Drive and NAV but didn’t care about the vehicle color or leather seating. To be fair, you might not be able to select every option by itself, yet by ordering your new vehicle, you can reduce the undesirable upgrades. We do suggest that you review any option packages, as they often have popular upgrades combined together.
If you are ordering your car, then you probably know what you want. You don’t have to spend time test-driving different cars, comparing features, etc. It couldn’t be easier, just schedule time with one of our sales professionals, and they will help you navigate the order guide and help you choose only what you need. When your new car gets here, you can stop by, sign a few papers and then be on your way. The new standard in the car-buying experience is custom ordering.
