We're expanding the Genesis Cares Job Loss Protection to support current Genesis owners affected by the uncertain business and financial environment created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting immediately, Genesis Finance is partnering with Genesis Motor America to offer current Genesis owners, who have lost their job due to or have been medically impacted by COVID-19, the ability to request a 30-day payment deferment up to three separate times. Current Genesis owners who financed or leased their vehicle through Genesis Finance before March 14, 2020 are eligible for this offer if:

  • They provide care for themselves or a member of their household resulting from the current global health crisis and are temporarily not able to work
  • They suffer job loss resulting from the current global health crisis

If you purchase a new Genesis and experience a job loss caused by COVID-19 anytime this year, Genesis will make your payment for up to 6 months. If you are currently looking to purchase a vehicle, well-qualified buyers can finance a new 2019 Genesis G70 through Genesis Finance at 0% APR for 84 months and defer payments for up to 120 days (exclusions may apply).

We are glad to offer Owner Payment Relief. Current customers that are financed through Genesis can receive up to 90 days of deferred payments in 30-day increments. If you have lost your job or have undergone medically-related hardships caused by COVID-19 between March 14 and April 30, 2020, we are now making deferred payments available to you.*
